Art gallery proposed for Main Street

An empty lot on Main Street may soon be transformed into an art gallery, a project that was brought before the Sundance City Council last week by local artist Bruce Speidel. The space has been unoccupied since the North Pole Meat Locker was demolished and is currently owned by the city.

Since acquiring the lot, the council has broadcast its desire to see the location used for a project that would provide economic development benefits to the downtown area. Speidel stated that he feels an art gallery would fulfill this brief.
