COVID-19 Daily Update - September 23

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 137 since yesterday and now stand at 4368. Probable cases have increased by 16 to 801.

Crook County has had a total of 32 confirmed cases and 6 probables after 3 new confirmed cases were identified today. Of those cases, 10 confirmed and 4 probable are currently active.

50 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 1 new death was reported today.

A total of 3622 confirmed and 655 probable cases have recovered.

Goshen County reported 1 new case; Converse and Platte counties had 2 new cases; Crook and Sweetwater counties saw 3 new cases; Carbon, Park and Uinta counties reported 4 new cases; 7 new cases were reported in Laramie and Sublette counties; Fremont and Sheridan counties reported 8 new cases; Teton County had 11 new cases; Campbell and Lincoln had 16 new cases; Albany County had 20 new cases; and Natrona County reported 22 new cases.

Weston County saw a decrease of 1 confirmed case.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 842, an increase of 105 from yesterday's total of 737.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level), and percent of all tests with a new positive result, which is "improved" (green level).
