COVID-19 Daily Update - August 7

According to Friday's update from the Department of Health, Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 41 and now stand at 2490.

Probable cases have increased by 1 to 510. There are currently 17 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Crook County has had a total of 10 confirmed cases. All have recovered.

28 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 1 new death was added today.

A total of 2420 confirmed and probable cases have recovered.

Sheridan County reported 1 new case; 2 new cases were seen in Carbon, Goshen, Natrona and Uinta counties; Campbell, Laramie and Sweetwater counties each saw 3 new cases; 4 new cases were reported in Fremont and Park counties; Teton County had 6 new cases, and 10 new cases were reported in Washakie County.

The Department of Health reduced the total number of coronavirus cases seen in Lincoln County by 1.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 554, a decline of 12 from Wednesday.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
