Board Meeting – November 4, 2019

Chairman Peggy Boardman called the regular board meeting of the Crook County Fair Board to order at 5:37 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Board members present: Peggy Boardman, Terri Johnson by phone, Amy Pravecek

Board members absent: Lonny Bossman, Justin Gerstner

Employees present: Carolyn Fowler, Ken Karry

Amy moved to approve the agenda, Peggy seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Terri moved to approve the minutes from the October 7, 2019 meeting, Amy seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Amy moved to approve to pay the bills, Terri seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Carolyn gave the Secretary Report.

Ken gave the Maintenance Report.

Peggy gave the Awards Committee report.

Old Business: Terri moved to accept the amended budget for 2019-2020, Amy seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

New Business: Carolyn presented entertainment ideas. Discussion was tabled for the next meeting.

Policies and Procedures review was tabled for the next meeting.

Amy moved to adjourn at 6:02 pm, Terri seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

The next meeting is scheduled for December 2, 2019 at 5:30 pm.
