FALL PREVENTION WORKSHOP BROWN BAG LUNCHEON: Thursday, September 26, at 12 p.m. Falls are the leading cause of death in older adults. Come learn several strength-training exercises to help prevent falls and ways to make your home more fall-proof. This is a sit, watch and learn event; no participation is required. Call the library to RSVP. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY ANNUAL BOOK SALE: Monday, September 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Library Programming: TODDLER AND PRESCHOOL STORYTIME on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. September’s themes: “Grandparents”, “Apples”, “Elephant & Piggie”, “Transportation” and “Play to Learn Stations”. ADULT CRAFT NIGHT: “Scarecrow Fall Decoration” on Monday, September 16, at 6 p.m. Class fee is $20, and sign-up is required by Friday, September 13. Space is limited, so stop in and sign up early! UFOs AT THE LIBRARY: normally the last Monday of each month at 6 p.m., in September: Monday, September 23 at 6 p.m. Bring any UnFinished Object (knitting, sewing, crocheting, crafting, etc.) to the library and work on it here. We have lots of space, outlets and camaraderie! Call the library for more information.
