Aug. 19 – House watch and business checks. Officer arrested subject on Campbell County warrant. Traffic stop.

Aug. 20 – House watch and business checks. Funeral escort. VIN inspection. Four traffic stops.

Aug. 21 – House watch and business checks. Officer investigated report of woman screaming at local motel; nothing found. Three bar checks. Six traffic stops.

Aug. 22 – House watch and business checks. VIN inspection. Three bar checks. Nine traffic stops.

Aug. 23 – House watch and business checks. Officer investigated report of suspicious vehicle. Three bar checks. Seven traffic stops.

The Sundance Police Department is participating in a National Highway Safety Program titled “National Crackdown” between August 15 and August 31. This week officers worked 15 hours of overtime concentrating their enforcement efforts of impaired driving resulting in an additional 31 traffic stops. No arrests were made.
