SHS musicians showcase skills this week

Twelve students from Sundance high school performed at the University of Wyoming Jazz festival March 14-15. Will Inghram participated and he also made All State Choir three of his four years at SHS.

Tyson Bjornestad and Will Tinsley were first alternates for All State Jazz Band. This band is especially select as there is only one bass player and drummer chosen, making first alternate quite an accomplishment.

Because the Sundance Jazz Combo performed, they still got show off their skills. Students have worked hard on a very challenging set of music that will also be featured at the spring concert on March 21.

The concert will also feature our pep band performances from winter sports, including two dances choreographed by the high school choir.
