Keyhole State Park is partnering with Audubon Rockies again this summer to provide a series of birding events at the park from May through August. The first event will be a "Birding Walk" on May 4, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Rocky Point Trailhead. The Heart of Gold Livestock Show was the event of the day with more than 90 kids participating from Crook County School District. Students interacted with cows, sheep, swine, goats, horses, dogs, a chicken and a rabbit with the help of our 4-H and FFA partners. Monty J. Clark, 68, of Beulah, Wyoming, passed away on April 12, 2024, in his home. Monty was born to Lewis and Shirley Clark, on February 23, 1956 in Bozeman, Montana. 1 Years Ago April 24, 1924 The high flood waters of Skull creek last week again did considerable damage to the Y T dam on the Julius Bock ranch. The dam was severely damaged about a week ago and with the flood waters this week the damage was considerably more than previously. In addition to the large amount of earth washed away the dam was completely drained so that it will leave Mr. Bock without water for irrigation purposes. Six fatal crashes so far in Campbell County this year GILLETTE (WNE) --- So far in 2024, 21 people have died in 18 fatal crashes in Wyoming. A third of those crashes, which resulted in six deaths, happened in Campbell County. In 2023, there were 11 fatal crashes in Campbell County. In 2022, there were seven. 2021 had four fatal crashes, and 2020 had eight.
