Public Health offers free hepatitis C testing

In recognition of May being Hepatitis Awareness Month, Crook County values the importance of getting screened, so Crook County Public Health is extending free hepatitis C rapid testing through the month of June.

Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis C virus. Millions of Americans have hepatitis C, and many are unaware of it due to having no symptoms. Because of this, all adults over the age of 18 are recommended to get tested.
