Track team competes in Belle and Wright

The Sundance track and field team had two more athletes qualify for the state meet this past week as they competed in Belle Fourche and Wright. At the Northern Hills Invite in Belle Fourche, Jake Schommer qualified in the high jump with a jump of 5-10.

Schommer placed third in the event. Teammate Keaton Mills also qualified for state in the discus with his throw of 144-01.5, which also earned him a first-place finish in the event.

On Friday, the athletes traveled to Wright to compete in the Scott Hardy Memorial Meet. As a team, the Bulldog boys finished in second place with a team score o...
