Veteran transportation available here

Veteran’s needing transportation to a VA appointment will now have a new option in Crook County. The DAV has provided a van to be used for area veterans.

Although based in Sundance, it is hoped it will be available to serve veterans from across the county. The new service is available to take veterans to any VA scheduled appointment they may have and is not limited to the Ft. Meade facility.

There is currently one volunteer driver for the service in Sundance but the organization would like to grow that number to 4-6 drivers in order to provide more robust coverage. Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the program can contact Jack Post at 605-218-0619 for more information.
