Dr. C.K. Stewart of Moorcroft received, thru the government forestry department, 100 Chinese elm trees. The stock came from the propagating station at Bellingham, Wash. and is about 3 feet high and fine looking stock. Dr. Stewart took the trees out to his KF ranch 1 ½ miles north of Moorcroft where he has been successfully growing trees for five years. The doctor has about 50 apple trees on his place just coming into bearing, and will set out for further demonstration purposes this year 135 Black Hills spruce, 25 apple, 200 black walnut, 100 black locust,...
