Bulldogs host Sundance Quad

The Sundance wrestlers hosted the Sundance Quad last week. Going up against wrestlers from Campbell County, Thunder Basin, Belle Fourche and Hulett, the Bulldog grapplers fared well.

Zac Duvall was the top wrestler at the 106 division, winning by fall over all of his competitors. Karter Mayberry, Jaedyn Keller, Gavin Mollenbrink and Savanah Peterson all finished second in their weight classes for the quad. Liam Holt and Clay Robinson rounded out the Sundance teams, taking third in their weight classes.

The Sundance Bulldog team wrestled at the Doger Invitational this past Saturday with positive results. The Bulldogs had four top three finishes, led by Senior Zac Duvall, Juniors Karter Mayberry and Jacob Comer who all finished with second place finishes.

Placing third for the grapplers was heavyweight Clay Robinson. Others participating were Gavin Mollenbrink 2-3, Jaedyn Keller 1-1 (then injury defaulted) and Liam Holt at 0-2.

The banged-up squad will send a small contingent this Friday to Belle Fourche for the Belle Fourche Invitational, while six injured grapplers are hopeful to return next week when the wrestlers head to Hill City.
