RECEIPT OF BIDS

Bids for the DOUGLAS ROAD ARCH

CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

PROJECT – PROJECT NO. 10210184

will be received at the CROOK

COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE OFFICE

LOCATED AT 309 E CLEVELAND

STREET SUNDANCE, WY 82729, until

OCTOBER 26TH AT 10:00 A.M. local

time. At that time the Bids received

will be publicly opened and read.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The work includes the furnishing of

the labor, materials, equipment,

and services for the construction

of the following: fabrication and

erection of a prefabricated

bridge across Arch Creek,

temporary detour road during

bridge construction, temporary

traffic control during construction,

excavation, backfill, and

compaction of roadwork up to

the new bridge; site grading;

installation and maintaining

storm water control; and other

incidentals required for completion

of the project.

TYPE OF BID

Bid shall be on a firm unit price

basis for the respective bid items

identified in the Bid Form. Unit

prices and estimated quantities

are solely used for the purpose of

comparing bids.

DOCUMENT EXAMINATION AND

PROCUREMENTS

A PDF of the contract documents

may be obtained, for a $20.00 fee,

from the Quest CDN website at

http://www.hdrinc.com/WYbids. Bidders

are required to be registered

on the Quest CDN website to

receive updates and addenda.

Prospective bidders are urged

to register with the designated

website as a bidding documents

holder, even if bidding documents

are obtained from a third-party

plan room or source other than

the designated website in either

electronic or paper format.

The designated website will

be updated periodically with

addenda, lists of registered bidding

documents holders, reports on the

site, and other information relevant

to submitting a bid for the project.

All official notifications, addenda,

and other bidding documents

will be offered only through the

designated website. Neither Owner

nor Engineer will be responsible

for bidding documents, including

addenda, if any, obtained from

sources other than the designated

website.

BID SECURITY

Each Bid shall be accompanied

by bid security as described in the

Instruction to Bidders.

CONTRACT SECURITY

The successful BIDDER will be

required to furnish Performance

and Payment Bonds as described

in the General Conditions.

WYOMING PREFERENCE

Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106,

“Preference is hereby given to

materials, supplies, agricultural

products, equipment, machinery,

and provisions produced,

manufactured or grown in

Wyoming, or supplied by a resident

of the state, quality being equal to

articles offered by the competitors

outside of the state.”

PREBID CONFERENCE

A RECOMMENDED pre-bid

conference is scheduled for 10:00

A.M. on October 18th, at the

Crook County Road and Bridge

Office Located at 309 E Cleveland

Street, Sundance, WY 82729. It is

STRONGLY encouraged that all

interested parties attend.
