The Sundance golf team stayed close to home this week, hosting the Sundance Invite on Friday and participating in the Upton Invite on Saturday.

The Bulldog boys continued to stay right together, with only one stroke separating them, on Friday, at their home course. Owen Watt led the trio with a score of 94 while teammates Spencer Lubken and Parker Speidel each shot a 95 on the course.

On the course in Upton, it was Lubken who led the Bulldogs, putting up a 97 as Speidel and Watt were again only strokes away. Teammate Corbin Crowder helped to round out the Bulldog boys' team putting up a 136 for the course and giving them an overall team score of 437, and a fourth-place finish.

On the girls' side of the competition, Sheridan Schubarth took two more second place finishes falling just short of Upton's Brooklyn Materi at each invite. Teammate continues to Savanah Peterson improve her scores each week, finishing close behind Schubarth.

Karen Ulmer and Avery Marchant also contributed to the Lady Bulldogs' scores helping them to a second-place team finish in Sundance and a fourth-place team finish in Upton.

The Bulldog golfers will compete Thursday at the Wee Links in Gillette and Friday at the Moorcroft Invite in Pine Haven.
