Nine area residents graduate HiSET

May 23 marked the HiSET graduation of nine area residents. Each student successfully completed the course of study and high school equivalency tests (reading, writing, math, science and social studies) as set forth by the State of Wyoming.

Callie Allred, Director of the College and Career Readiness Center (of which the high school equivalency program is a part), Eastern Wyoming College, Torrington, announced the graduates as Janet and Ayme distributed diplomas to the graduates.

The HiSET program is grant funded and is free of charge to students 16+ who desire to earn a high school equivalency certificate or need to improve their reading, writing or math skills in preparation for college.
