FCCLA members attend state convention

Sundance FCCLA had a very successful state convention! The theme was "Life is a Highway".

Students participated in leadership workshops, listened to a keynote speaker and competed with projects they have worked on for months. We had nine students qualify to compete at the National Leadership Meeting in San Diego this summer.

Brook Hofland was WY FCCLA Vice President of Competitive Events and was a leader in many activities and presided over the business meeting. Jaylin Mills was elected as District Officer for Wyoming FCCLA.

Placing first, competing against other schools in Wyoming (Gold Medal) – Kimberly Fowler in Chapter Service Portfolio, Jaylin Mills and Blakely Gill in National Programs in Action, Gracie Davis in Chapter Service Display, Levi Rudloff in Creed Contest, Quiz Bowl team: Karly Marchant, Blakely Gill, Jaylin Mills, Annika Haugen and Tessa Sanderson.

Placing second in the state (Silver Medal) – Bailey Hofland and Levi Rudloff in Chapter in Review Portfolio, Holden Ayer and Avery Marchant in Chapter Service Display, Jaylin Mills in Creed Contest.

Brook Hofland was awarded a WY FCCLA Scholarship.
