Road conditions have improved wonderfully the past week, and at the present it is reported fair to Rocky Ford, and good from there to Spearfish. It will be several days before auto travel opens to the west to Moorcroft or Upton.

Government trapper Evans was in for supplies, and reports poor luck on account of the heavy snows, says the Gillette Record. He has been engaged in the vicinity of the Lee & Spaeth ranch.
