Lighting up the night

The Crook County Sheriff's Office was successful in nabbing the Grinch Friday night, presumably just before he was able to interfere with the annual Christmas Lighted Parade and related holiday events.

The first lighting of Sundance's official Christmas tree took place following Friday's parade of lights. The tree, which is situated in the center of Sundance Square, was donated by the family of Paul Jacobson (LuAnn and Josh Jacobson) in his memory.

The family was present to place the star and light the tree, after which the Sundance High School Choir led the crowd in singing Christmas carols and the new park's movie screen was debuted with a holiday showing.
