Honor band and choir present free concert

The public is invited to a free presentation by the Northeast District Junior High Honor Band and Choir this weekend.

The concert will take place on October 29 at 4 p.m. and will be held in the Sundance School Gym.

The Honor Band will perform the Star Spangled Banner, followed by “Lightning,” “By the Sword” and “Angry Beavers.”

The Honor Choir is set to perform “Hi! Ho! The Rattlin’ Bog,” “Pie Jesu,” “The Canoe Song” and “Nine Hundred Miles.”

The band includes a number of Crook County students, including Tylla Gerry and Annika Haugen on first flute; Nadia Harding and Madisson Neiman on second clarinet; Audrey Wheeler, Avery Moeller and Taylor Daily on third clarinet; Karly Marchant on alto sax one; Sydney Rozell on alto sax two; Maria Villegas, Corbin Crowder and Halden Harmon on third trumpet; Owen Watt, Brennan Burris and Duncan Letellier on trombone two; Riley Rheubottom on tuba; and Gracie Davis on percussion.

Honor Choir participants from this county include Madeline Fleenor, Blakely Gill, Tessa Sanderson, Hailey Karol and Ayla Sanders; alto Victoria Rozell; and baritones Donnie Donner, Adam Cuthrell, John Wacker, Josh Crews, Cade Wilson, Hudson Mitchell and Dylan Wilson.
