Various rumors and reports have reached Sundance that a wild man has been seen on the Williams Divide. One authority has it that the man is between six and seven feet tall and wears a pair of shoes. So far, attempts to apprehend or identify the person have failed, and it is said that organized efforts will be made to run him down. Sheriff Hurtt thinks that when the weather cools a little it will be wise to organize a party and try to interview the stranger.
