Minnesota man arrested for smuggling prescription drugs

Jorge Colon Bermudez of Minnesota faces multiple felony possession charges after a large quantity of prescription drugs were discovered in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

On August 4 at around 10:17 p.m., a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper noticed that the vehicle behind was catching up to him as he traveled at 65 mph in the construction zone of I-90. The trooper’s rear radar gave a reading of 80 mph, so he pulled over to allow the vehicle to pass and then conducted a traffic stop.
