Sundance resident Josh Idler has been given a suspended sentence on child abuse, reckless endangerment and domestic battery charges related to an allegedly ongoing situation of verbal and physical abuse that culminated in an incident where he pulled a handgun on a victim.

Idler pled guilty to one felony count of child abuse and misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment.

Judge Stuart S. Healy III sentenced Idler to between two and six years in a state penal institution for the first count, one year of incarceration for the second and 180 days for the third, all of which are to run concurren...
