Class of 2021

Hats flew in the air on Sunday evening as 33 seniors completed their careers at Sundance High School and prepared to move on to the next stage of their lives.

The Class of 2021 graduated in a commencement ceremony that began with the presentation of colors by the Sundance Honor Guard and a welcome from Josh Pridgeon, class president.

Salutatorian Rhianna Heaster’s heartfelt address was well-complemented by Valedictorian Owen Haiar’s more light-hearted speech. Once scholarships had been announced, Principal Jim O’Connor presented the diplomas and the new graduates left the gym for the final time to the sounds of Electric Light Orchestra’s “Mr. Blue Sky.”

Graduates were escorted by members of the Junior National Honor Society.
