Hulett rodeo coming soon

The much-anticipated annual Hulett Rodeo is scheduled this year for June 12 and 13, kicking off at 10 a.m. on the first day of the weekend with a “small-town hoedown” parade.

The rodeo itself is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on both days, with slack beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday if needed. Events will include bronc, bareback and bull riding, steer wrestling and calf and breakaway roping, as well as team roping and breakaway and barrel racing for the ladies.

Events for the kids will include mutton bustin’, steer riding, calf and steer scrambles and boot races.
