Successful weekend for wrestlers

The Sundance wrestling team had a successful weekend as they travelled to Tongue River to participate in the Eagles’ first ever home dual. Going up against wrestlers from Tongue River and Glenrock, three of the four Bulldog grapplers walked away with a pin for the day.

Josh Pridgeon and Roman Hrek each pinned their opponents from Glenrock while Gavin Mollenbrink was able to pin his opponent from Tongue River. Leo Lyons also participated but was pinned by his opponent in the 195 weight class.

“Our kids wrestled the best they have this year,” assistant coach Skylar Carsrud commented, “It was great to see them come out and dominate at Tongue River. A great way to end the week.”

The Bulldog wrestlers will have a week off from competition this week but are looking to add to their winning records next week when they travel to Hulett on Friday and Douglas on Saturday.
