COVID-19 Daily Update - January 28

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 58 since yesterday and now stand at 43,884. Probable cases have increased by 4 to 7546.

Crook County has had a total of 379 confirmed cases and 34 probables after 1 confirmed case was added today. Of those cases, 6 confirmed and 3 probable are currently active.

A total of 596 have died in Wyoming due to the virus. Crook County has now recorded 10 deaths.

A total of 42,364 confirmed and 7228 probable cases have recovered.

The greatest increase in coronavirus cases in this reporting period was in Sweetwater County, which reported 11; Lincoln County had 10; Both Sheridan and Uinta counties had seven new cases; Teton County had five; Laramie County had four; Big Horn and Natrona counties had three each; Goshen and Sublette counties had two each; Carbon, Crook, Hot Springs and Johnson counties all reported just one new case.

The counties reporting no new cases were Albany, Campbell, Converse, Fremont, Niobrara, Park, Platte, Washakie and Weston.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the state was 1242, a decrease of 192 cases from yesterday's 1434.
