COVID-19 Daily Update - January 5

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 212 since yesterday and now stand at 38,954. Probable cases have increased by 110 to 6615.

Crook County has had a total of 360 confirmed cases and 30 probables after 2 new confirmed cases were reported today. Of those cases, 3 confirmed and 1 probable are currently active.

464 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 26 new deaths were reported today. Crook County has recorded 7 deaths.

A total of 37,330 confirmed and 6233 probable cases have recovered.

Laramie County saw an increase of 69 new cases; Park County had 18; Teton County had 17; Albany County had 13; Campbell County had 11; Lincoln and Uinta counties had 10 new cases each; Fremont County had nine; Big Horn, Natrona, Sheridan, Sublette and Sweetwater counties all reported seven cases; Converse County had six; Carbon and Platte counties each had three; Crook, Johnson and Goshen counties had two new cases; and Hot Springs and Weston counties had one each.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the state was 1542, an increase of 153 over yesterday's 1389.
