Family Dollar works with church on sewer line

Thanks to an unexpected opportunity for teamwork, utility work for the Family Dollar store in Sundance will also benefit St. Paul’s Catholic Church. When plans for a sewer line were revealed a few months ago, the church realized it could piggyback the project and provide water to its property adjacent to the store.

Ken Rathbun of Bearlodge Engineering spoke with the council last week on behalf of owner David Murdoch, who was unable to be present. The new Family Dollar store is under construction, he said, and an agreement has been reached for the sewer line.
