COVID-19 Daily Update - December 9

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 334 since yesterday and now stand at 32,889. Probable cases have increased by 131 to 4920.

Crook County has had a total of 317 confirmed cases and 24 probables after 7 new confirmed cases were reported today. Of those cases, 41 confirmed and 2 probable are currently active.

299 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 19 new deaths were announced today. Crook County has recorded 6 deaths.

A total of 28,500 confirmed and 4112 probable cases have recovered.

The highest increase in laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases was 72 in Laramie County; Natrona County had 47 new cases; Sweetwater County had 40; Park County had 31; Fremont County had 20; Sheridan County reported 17 new cases; Campbell County had 16; Uinta County had 14; Albany and Lincoln counties reported 12 new cases each; Teton County had 11; Big Horn and Crook counties both had seven new cases; Sublette County and Carbon County had five; Washakie County had four; Niobrara County had three; Converse, Goshen, Hot Springs, Johnson and Weston counties all reported two new cases; Platte County had one.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Wednesday was up by only 13, from 4961 to 4974.
