COVID-19 Daily Update - November 27

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 920 since Wednesday and now stand at 27,597. Probable cases have increased by 92 to 4176.

Crook County has had a total of 277 confirmed cases and 22 probables after 4 new confirmed and 1 new probable case were announced today. Of those cases, 61 confirmed and 3 probable are currently active.

215 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming. Crook County has recorded 5 deaths.

A total of 18,783 confirmed and 2917 probable cases have recovered.

Sweetwater County had the highest number of new cases in the last 48 hours, 174; Campbell County reported 143 new cases; Laramie had 99; Fremont County reported 91 new cases; Teton County saw 69 new cases; Natrona County recorded 64; Sheridan County reported 49; Uinta County had 31; Park County saw 29 new cases; Albany County reported 28; Goshen County had 22; Washakie reported 20; Carbon County recorded 18 new cases; Big Horn reported 16; Sublette County's case count went up by 14; Platte County saw 13 new cases; Lincoln had 10; Weston County reported eight; Converse County and Johnson counties saw six new cases each; Niobrara and Crook each reported four new cases, and Hot Springs County had two.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Friday was 9,858, a decrease of 575 from Wednesday's 10,433.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, five of six are marked as "concerning": the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.

The sixth metric is marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread.
