COVID-19 Daily Update - November 23

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 1251 since yesterday and now stand at 25,560. Probable cases have increased by 11 to 3871.

Crook County has had a total of 263 confirmed cases and 21 probables after 3 new confirmed cases were announced today. Of those cases, 67 confirmed and 5 probable are currently active.

202 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 26 more deaths were reported today. Crook County has recorded 4 deaths in total.

A total of 15,078 confirmed and 2374 probable cases have recovered.

The highest number of new cases was in Laramie County, which reported 238; Natrona County had 190; Sweetwater County had 126; Fremont County had 120; Albany County had 98 new cases; Sheridan County had 79; Campbell County had 77; Teton County had 61; Uinta County reported 44; Carbon County had 34; Goshen County had 33; Park County had 30; Big Horn County had 19 new cases; Converse had 18; Lincoln County had 17; Sublette County had 15; Hot Springs County saw 13 new cases; Johnson County had 11; Washakie County had 10; Niobrara County had nine; Platte County had six; and Crook County had three.

Only Weston County reported no increase in coronavirus cases on Monday.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Monday was 11,793, an increase of 607 over Sunday's 11,186.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, five of six are marked as "concerning": the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.

The sixth metric is marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread.
