COVID-19 Daily Update - November 20

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 858 since yesterday and now stand at 23,347. Probable cases have increased by 102 to 3782.

Crook County has had a total of 251 confirmed cases and 21 probables after 6 new confirmed cases were announced today. Of those cases, 72 confirmed and 4 probable are currently active.

176 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming. Crook County has recorded 4 deaths in total.

A total of 14,029 confirmed and 2287 probable cases have recovered.

The highest number of newly confirmed cases on Friday was in Natrona County, with 158 cases reported. Laramie County had 145; Sweetwater County had 89; both Fremont and Sheridan County reported 83 new cases; Albany County had 67; Campbell County had 51; Carbon County had 32; Teton County had 27; Park County had 19; Sublette County had 18; Goshen County had 17; Hot Springs County had 14.

Washakie County had nine cases; Weston County had eight; Converse and Johnson counties each had seven; Crook County had six; Big Horn and Lincoln counties each reported five cases; Niobrara County had four new cases; Platte County had three; and Uinta County reported one case.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Wednesday was 10,637, a decrease of 452 over yesterday's 11,368.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, five of six are marked as "concerning": the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.

The sixth metric is marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread.
