COVID-19 Daily Update - November 7

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 174 since yesterday and now stand at 14,045. Probable cases have increased by 18 to 2552.

Crook County has had a total of 148 confirmed cases and 13 probables after 1 new confirmed case was announced today. Of those cases, 51 confirmed and 2 probable are currently active.

114 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 9 more deaths were announced today. 1 death involved a Crook County resident.

A total of 8647 confirmed and 1495 probable cases have recovered.

Natrona County had 36 new cases of the virus; Laramie County had 33; Fremont County had 24; Albany County had 16; Campbell County had 12; and Park, Sweetwater and Teton counties each reported ten new cases. The remainder of counties to experience increases in cases reported single digit increases. Goshen County had six; Carbon County had five; Big Horn County and Uinta County each had four; Weston County had three new cases; Sheridan had two; and Converse, Crook and Lincoln each had only one.

The Health Department also reported a decrease of two cases in both Platte and Washakie counties.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Saturday was 6341, an increase of 53 over yesterday's 6288.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, five of six are marked as "concerning": the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.

The sixth metric is marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread.
