COVID-19 Daily Update - November 4

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 276 since yesterday and now stand at 12,675. Probable cases have increased by 149 to 2369.

Crook County has had a total of 121 confirmed cases and 11 probables after 8 new confirmed cases were announced today. Of those cases, 41 confirmed are currently active.

105 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 12 new deaths were announced today. 1 of those deaths was a Crook County resident.

A total of 8097 confirmed and 1404 probable cases have recovered.

Campbell County experienced the greatest increase in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases, with 48 new cases. Fremont County reported 38 new cases; Laramie County had 32; Albany County had 31; Natrona County reported 26.

Park County's cases increased by 17; Sweetwater County's by 14; Sheridan and Teton counties both had an increase of 11; Crook County had eight new cases; Washakie County had seven; Platte County had six; Converse and Goshen counties each reported five new cases; Lincoln and Uinta County each had four; Hot Springs and Weston counties reported three; Carbon County had two new cases, and Johnson and Big Horn counties both saw an increase of one new coronavirus case.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Wednesday was 5438, an increase of 224 over Tuesday's 5214.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19 are marked as "concerning".

The three other metrics are marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.
