COVID-19 Daily Update - October 30

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 431 since yesterday and now stand at 11,020. Probable cases have increased by 90 to 2008.

Crook County has had a total of 109 confirmed cases and 11 probables after 4 new confirmed cases were reported today. Of those cases, 45 confirmed and 1 probable are currently active.

87 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming. 1 of those deaths was a Crook County resident.

A total of 7209 confirmed and 1246 probable cases have recovered.

Laramie County reported 65 new confirmed cases of coronavirus; Campbell and Natrona counties each reported 60 new cases; Albany County saw a spike of 57 new cases; Fremont County has 44 new cases; Sheridan and Sweetwater counties both reported 27 new cases; Park County has 21; Teton County saw an increase of 16 cases.

Big Horn County has nine new cases; Uinta County's cases increased by eight; Goshen County's are up by six; Converse County reported five new cases; Carbon, Crook, Johnson, Platte and Washakie counties all reported an increase of four cases; Lincoln County has three new cases; Weston County has two; and Hot Springs County has one new case.

Sublette County was the only county that did not experience an increase in cases.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Friday was 4486, an increase of 302 over Thursday's 4184.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19 are marked as "concerning".

The three other metrics are marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.
