COVID-19 Daily Update - October 27

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 252 since yesterday and now stand at 10,035. Probable cases have increased by 77 to 1771.

Crook County has had a total of 98 confirmed cases and 11 probables after 4 new confirmed and 1 probable case were reported today. Of those cases, 37 confirmed and 3 probable are currently active.

77 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming. 1 of those deaths was a Crook County resident.

A total of 6749 confirmed and 1157 probable cases have recovered.

Campbell and Laramie counties reported an increase of 47 confirmed coronavirus cases; Natrona County recorded 32 new cases; Sheridan County had 23; Fremont had 18; Park recorded 11; Albany reported 10 new cases; Lincoln and Sweetwater counties had nine; Weston County recorded seven; Big Horn, Teton, Uinta and Washakie counties each saw six new cases; Crook County had four; Converse and Johnson counties reported three; Sublette County recorded two, and Carbon, Goshen and Platte counties had one new case each.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Tuesday was 3823, an increase of 98 over 3725 on Monday.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19 are marked as "concerning".

The three other metrics are marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.
