COVID-19 Daily Update - October 20

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 156 since yesterday and now stand at 8070. Probable cases have increased by 69 to 1456.

Crook County has had a total of 78 confirmed cases and 10 probables after 5 new cases were reported today. Of those cases, 28 confirmed and 3 probable are currently active.

61 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after four new deaths were announced today.

A total of 5929 confirmed and 1015 probable cases have recovered.

Laramie County reported 30 new confirmed cases; Natrona County recorded 22; Fremont saw 17; Park County had 16 new cases; Big Horn County reported nine; Albany County had eight; Sweetwater County added six new cases; Campbell, Crook and Teton counties reported five; Carbon, Lincoln and Washakie had four; Sheridan saw three; Converse, Platte and Weston counties reported two new cases, and Johnson and Uinta counties added one new case.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 2521, an increase of 63 over yesterday's 2341.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
