COVID-19 Daily Update - October 5

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 114 since yesterday and now stand at 5660. Probable cases have increased by 11 to 969.

Crook County has had a total of 42 confirmed cases and 7 probables. Of those cases, 8 confirmed are currently active.

53 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

A total of 4484 confirmed and 788 probable cases have recovered.

The number of coronavirus cases increased today in 20 counties - all but Crook, Hot Springs and Johnson.

Albany County reported an increase of 22 cases; Campbell County has 12 new cases; Laramie County has 11; Fremont County has 10. Teton County has 9 more cases; Sheridan County has 8 more; Natrona County has 6 more cases; Uinta has 5 more; Lincoln and Converse counties have 4 more cases.

Big Horn, Carbon, Goshen, Park and Sweetwater counties reported 3 new cases of coronavirus; Platte, Washakie and Weston counties have 2 more; Niobrara and Sublette counties each reported 1 new case.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 1304, an increase of 13 from yesterday's total of 1291.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
