The Sundance Cross Country team traveled to Wright to compete Saturday, Sept. 19. Despite the heat, the Bulldogs pulled through to claim several top spots in the contest. 

Senior Hunter Skeens placed first in a time of 17:46 and freshman Rylie Marchant placed third in a time of 24:10.

Although Skeens claimed the top spot, he noted the air quality and concrete course took a toll on his pace and overall time; however, he still ran under 18 minutes in the race. 

Sophomore Kort McLaughlin and freshmen Deklan Gill and Jordan Mouat also competed in Wright.
