COVID-19 Daily Update - September 27

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 162 since yesterday and now stand at 4780. Probable cases have increased by 3 to 850.

Crook County has had a total of 38 confirmed cases and 6 probables after 3 new confirmed cases were announced today. Of those cases, 14 confirmed and 4 probable are currently active.

50 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

A total of 3824 confirmed and 695 probable cases have recovered.

Today we saw increases in the number of coronaviruses in 20 of Wyoming's 23 counties. Only Platte, Niobrara and Weston counties did not report any new cases.

Albany County has 26 new cases; Natrona County has 24 new cases. Teton County reports 18 more coronavirus cases; Fremont County has 16; Sheridan County has 14 new cases; Laramie County reports 12; Goshen County has 11; Campbell County has 8 more cases; Lincoln County has 7; Park County has 6; Big Horn, Carbon, Crook and Sweetwater counties each report 3 new cases of coronavirus;Converse and Uinta counties have 2; Hot Springs, Johnson, Sublette and Washakie counties each have just 1 more case.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 1064, an increase of 128 from yesterday's total of 936.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
