COVID-19 Daily Update - August 22

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased today by 15 and now stand at 3009. Probable cases have increased by 4 to 534.

Crook County has had a total of 13 confirmed cases. Of those cases, 3 are currently active.

37 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 3 new deaths were added yesterday.

A total of 2429 confirmed and 450 probable cases have recovered.

Carbon, Fremont, Johnson, Laramie and Sublette counties each report 1 new case of coronavirus. Natrona, Sweetwater and Teton counties have 2 more cases. Campbell County has 5 more cases.

The Health Department shows a decrease of 1 case in Albany County.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 627, up 4 from 623.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
