COVID-19 Daily Update - August 6

According to Thursday's update from the Department of Health, Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 25 and now stand at 2449.

Probable cases have increased by 10 to 509. There are currently 16 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Crook County has had a total of 10 confirmed cases. All have recovered.

27 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Of the confirmed cases, 1969 are now reported to have recovered, and 397 of the probable cases.

Sweetwater and Washakie counties each reported 1 new case; Fremont, Goshen and Sheridan saw 2 new cases; Laramie, Lincoln and Teton counties had 3 new cases each; Uinta County reported 4 new cases, and Park County saw 5.

The Department of Health reduced the total number of coronavirus cases seen in Sublette County by 1.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 566, a decline of 9 from Wednesday.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
