COVID-19 Daily Update - August 10

According to Monday's update from the Department of Health, Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 32 and now stand at 2565.

Probable cases have decreased by 40 to 477 (this is largely due to a change in how cases are assigned, which has seen some probably cases reassigned as "close household contacts").

There are currently 15 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Crook County has had a total of 10 confirmed cases. All have recovered.

28 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

A total of 2081 confirmed and 402 probable cases have recovered.

New cases were reported in Campbell, Carbon, Converse, Fremont, Goshen, Hot Springs, Laramie, Natrona, Park, Sheridan, Sweetwater, Teton and Weston counties. Carbon County saw the largest growth in confirmed cases with 9.

The total number of active cases in Wyoming is 533.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).

Please note that any positive cases from visitors to the county traveling through over the next week will not be reflected in these statistics. We will strive to share such information as it becomes available, whenever possible.
