Veterans assistance available

A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services around Wyoming cities throughout August.

Clifford Knesel is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. Mr. Knesel can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

His office is located at the 551 Running W Dr., in Gillette, and he will be available at the following locations:

• Sundance: August 4 and 17, at the Sundance Senior Citizen Center, 220 N. Second St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Newcastle: August 6 and 20, at the Newcastle Workforce Center, 22922 US-85, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
