COVID-19 Daily Update - August 2

According to Sunday's update from the Department of Health, Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 36 and now stand at 2333.

Probable cases have increased by 3 to 475. There are currently 18 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Crook County has had a total of 9 confirmed cases. All have recovered.

26 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Of the confirmed cases, 1799 are now reported to have recovered, and 374 of the probable cases.

Big Horn, Goshen, Natrona and Sublette counties each reported 1 new case of coronavirus; Albany, Campbell, Fremont and Sheridan counties each reported 2 additional cases; Lincoln and Uinta county both have 3 more; Sweetwater County has 5 more cases; Teton has 6 new cases, and Laramie County has 7 new cases.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 611.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, "Total ICU Bed Availability" has been downgraded from improved to stable (green to amber level). All other metrics are also at this level, except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
