State Winter Games

On February 3-7, the Crook County Special Olympics team traveled to Jackson for the State Winter Games. State Games consisted of 26 programs and over 300 athletes. The Crook County athletes participated in Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding. Below are the results: 

Beginner Level Skiing – Evin Anderson: Gold, Silver, Bronze; Jarod Bray: Gold, Gold, Bronze; Mackenzie Brown: Gold, Silver, Silver; Mariah Johnson: Gold, Gold, Bronze; Baydon Wells: Bronze, Bronze, Fourth; Kymberlee Wells: Silver, Bronze, Bronze

Intermediate Level Skiing – Weston Allred: Fifth, Sixth, Participation; Bren Anderson: Gold, Gold, Bronze; Wade Byrne: Gold, Gold; Chase Garman: Silver, Silver, Bronze; Henry Hodges: Silver, Silver, Fifth; Andrew McCue: Gold, Golc, Bronze; Bryce Merchen: Silver, Fourth, Participation; Adam Perry: Gold, Silver, Fourth

Intermediate Level Sit-Ski – Kamby Schuler: Gold, Gold, Gold

Advanced Level Skiing – Breanna Ulmer: Bronze, Fourth; Spencer Ward: Silver, Silver, Silver
