Trimming time

The Forest Service District Office in Sundance once again welcomed a young team of interior decorators to brighten their halls for the festive season this year.

On Monday, both fourth grade classrooms decorated pine cones. On Thursday, all 26 kids arrived at the office for cookies and juice and to help hang their finished ornaments.

“It was fun to see their creativity on each of their ornaments they made,” says Halley Legge, who helped the kids inject some personality into their pine cones. “Smokey Bear even helped hang some ornaments as well!”
