We will ask for one more donation of chili and will ask the Ponderosa to do chicken strips.

If the Olson’s cannot get the toys this year, Melissa or Kim said they could. The chamber received a wonderful donation from Greg Bracken to help purchase the toys, plus there were some left over from last year that are in the storage shed.

Kim is working on the table tents for upcoming events. Instead of paid advertising on the bottom the chamber will showcase three non-profits.

Discussion on a storage unit was tabled.

The bank is asking for proof of the EIN. Melissa contacted the IRS and the letter is on its way.

Cindee has been in contact with Jen Womack who does the visitor’s guide. We will be starting much earlier this year and will rely on her expertise for changes. Also membership letter will be going out the first of January. The application will be updated. Craig Goodell will head up that committee.

Black Hills Badland and Lakes have a matching grant fund. The chamber will try to come up with some projects.

The group discussed promotion board money and that Kendra Meidinger thought that it could pay for our website since it was promotion.

The Chamber put out ideas of how to help some of the events in the summer with their promotions and how one poster might serve them all better. The rodeo, car show, Crook County Wyoming Country Junkin Weekend, and whatever other events are held, the chamber could be a great vessel to get information out.

Motion to pay the website bill to Mileup Marketing for $159.00, Bears/Somervold, mc.

Lyle Hartman submitted a propose town motto. This could be a great contest amongst town residents. This will be discussed at the January meeting

The Monarch Butterfly project is progressing nicely. The Neiman family was asked if there could be an area developed behind Birch Street on the hill. The school is going to be working with the Chamber and Walt Daknis has been asked to assist.
