Missoula Children's Theatre auditions for Johnny Appleseed

Come join Johnny and his little buddies on their delicious, heartwarming adventures across the land, making friends with all kinds of people and animals. Students from kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to audition for the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s production of Johnny Appleseed on Monday November 18 from 4:05 to 6:05 p.m. at the Sundance High School auditorium.

Those auditioning should arrive at 4 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some cast members will stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition, which will end at 8:30 p.m.

No advance preparation is necessary for this audition. Assistant directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities. Elementary students wishing to participate will be escorted from the elementary to the high school each day.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals each day throughout the week, including Friday, and a rehearsal schedule will be given to cast members at the conclusion of auditions.

The tale of Johnny Appleseed is a tasty reminder that kindness is at the core of friendship. Don’t miss the juicy performance on Friday, November 22 promptly at 6 p.m. at the high school auditorium.
